GHS MUSIC BAND SCRAMBLE

A total of 27 players participated in the annual GHS MUSIC BAND SCRAMBLE. Light as the participation was, the golfers had a lot of fun and the competition was excellent. The team of Emmet Francis, Darrel Dodson, Calvin Begay & Mike Thompson shot a nifty 57 and won 1st gross! Apparently Calvin Begay's new glasses are working!! In 1st net were Mike Silva, Paul "Son-Son" Chavez & Roscoe Smith (57.9). In 2nd Gross (62) were Orville Arviso, Olsen Arviso, Clarence Peterson & Scott Hamilton and in 2nd Net (58.5) were Darryl Holtsoi, Willie Holtsoi (left: "I did not help much, but I should have eaten first!"), Bennett Johnson and BurtJohnson. Parents and teachers hosted a delicious lunch for the participants in addition to several door prizes. COMING UP: PAUL HANSON MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP TOURNAMENT (May 19)
