Sammy "C" & Charity Invitational XIV...

By now, most people should know, and golfers in particular, that Sammy "C" (Chioda) will be the honoree of Charity Invitational XIV on September 25th. For the first time ever in Charity Invitational, the honoree will not only be present at the course to greet the participants, but will also hit the first ball of the tournament... "Gallup Family Style", which is not alone. Playing the role of 1st Assistant, will be Giovanni, Sammy's 10 year old son, who will accompany dad to hit the all important starting shot as well.

The reason is simple... in the last 3 years, Sammy has only played golf with only one person... Giovanni, and he does not think he can do as well if son #1 could not help a little.

In the picture here, they were practicing so they can hit the shot simultaneously... so far they look pretty good, wouldn't you think so? See you on the 25th!

P.S. "Never say Never" is the saying, and I am glad I did not say it when in June, it was my intention to not write in this blog anymore. So, to those who are wondering why did I write this and/or why did I accept helping with Charity Invitational, I will state the three most obvious and important reasons: first, there is no way to live for 27 years in the same place, without having a sense of friendship and loyalty to all the people I was hired to serve for many years (which includes all golfers or organizations with a need), and second... do I really need more?
