SUMMER COMETH!!

I know, I know... we barely started spring and its possible that we will still have some cold days, but summer is coming soon, and if you have kids, make it a point to spend some time at the golf course with them: there is no better place for kids, particularly at Fox Run G.C. (you must remember our new name). Help golf preserve the motto of "a family game" (pictured, Jake and Paula Annala with four future golfers: Chris, Michael, Nick, Kate). Several couples play golf on a regular basis, but the scenario that we should encourage is for an adult, to take the time to play a round, even if only nine holes, with a young child. Having experienced that type of joy, I can tell you that few things compare to it, you will never see a more sincere smile as when a child hits the ball up in the air for the first time, or when he or she hits a ball to a green or makes a long putt. Witnessing their first par or birdie, is like witnessing their first word! There is a special bond created when you take the time to take your children play a round of golf just by yourselves. If you do not have children who play golf, take a nephew or niece, but make it a point to take a youngster to play the game. IT BECOMES MORE THAN GOLF... and you become a hero!!
