CONGRATULATIONS TO SCOTT HAMILTON...

Scott Hamilton received a phone call from buddy Bill Terrazas (Albuquerque) to see if they could meet halfway in Grants and have a good match... so they invited Gary Leloff and David Haynes and off they went on Saturday, May 3rd. They decided on a friendly "Round Robin" match (a game in which you alternate partners every six holes). Bill had been waiting for the last pairing, which started on #13 as he would have Scotty as partner, it proved to be a pretty good one... but only for the first hole!: Scotty aced the hole with a 7-Iron that hit about 4 feet from the hole and spun in, Bill had a 3 and they were up to a quick 2 up start... only to end up losing 3 ways to Gary and David.

Later of course, Scotty treated his foursome and some of the Grants regulars, most of whom are familiar with all of our golfers, to a round of drinks. Scotty, too bad you were not playing "The (daily) Game" as organized by my buddy Manny Martinez, ... you would have made about $25.00 per person!!
