IN CASE YOU WONDERED...

Just in case you wondered if we are still around... WE ARE! Left, we had the opportunity to take a picture of our good friend and one of our favorites, Andy Piano who possed with Sarah and son Victor during a family outing and practice round for an upcoming scramble (we are told that he easily beat his son!).
And we apologize, since we overlooked posting the results of the Firefighter's Scramble held on July 21st (the week before the A.C. Houston Scramble). Here they are: 1st (1st gross - 59): Phillip De La Riva, Jason Armstrong & Marqui Armstrong (no relation); 2nd (1st net - 53.0): Ernie Abeita, Alfred "Porky" Abeita & Bob Lujan; 3rd (2nd gross - 60): Scott Lewis, Johnny Hamilton & Scott Hamilton; 4th (2nd Net - 53.3): Brian Maldonado, Rafael Rodriguez & Victor Landavazo; 5th (3rd gross - 61): David Haynes, Scott Armstrong & Clarence Peterson. The tournament had a total of 45 participants.
We have not had any major events since the 27th of July, but this weekend, we will have two: The Ceremonial Scramble (which will be combined with the "Friends of Ray Moore" group) on Saturday August 11th and the annual Cheerleaders Tournament on Sunday, August the12th.
The Wednesday Afternoon 9-Hole Business Tournaments (with the help of Coca Cola of Gallup) have continued as well, here are the results of the last two weeks. July 25: Tie for 1st (37): Andrew Blanco & Jackie McKinney and Anthony Silva & Charles De La Torre; August 1st: 1st (64): Ruben Sanchez, Richard Madrid & Brian Maldonado; 2nd (65): Anthony Silva, Andrew Blanco & Nelson Leonard.
And that's not all.... but keep logging in and you will find out more later!!

Cut the weeds! Not only are they ugly and you can't find a ball... it's a health issue! While you are it, cut the fairways too!
