NAVAJO FAIR SCRAMBLE RESULTS

Forty eight adults and twelve juniors attended the 2008 Navajo Fair Tournament in Gallup, and though attendance was down from last year, the participants had a blast... particularly and specially the juniors...!

Jeremy & Arkie Huskie went one better than last year, and this time they won 1st place, their other two teammates in this 4-Man Scramble were Bennett Tsosie & Wayne Claw. Their 57 gross was thus far, the low round of the year in a scramble.

In second place, (56.6 Net) were Travis Chee, Cordero Ben, Darryl Dodson & George Arviso. Next, in third place, with a (60 Gross) came in Marcus Tulley, Steve Grey, Roscoe Smith & Tom Bedoni, and in 4th place, with a 57.6 net, were Kenny Toney, Clarence Peterson, Calvin Begay & Calvin Castillo.

Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Badoni, chairs of the event, had a full day, not only did they have a long week orgnaizing the event and getting sponsors, but also did all the cooking of the delicious steaks and hamburgers for the juniors.
