LABOR DAY IN GALLUP...
Though only 20 players in ten 2-Man Teams participated in the Labor Day Tournament, the competition did not lack quality and good scores. Hugh Johnston (pictured while teeing off on #18, right below) & former "triple" champion Bruce Jones (far right), took first place with a net 63, which was possible due to Hugh's "huge" birdie on #10 that turned out to be a net eagle (which in turn, was the only "skin" of the tournament). In second place, with a 64 came the team of Andrew Dominguez & Ronnie Pinto; next, with a 65, were Pete Urias & Robert Dimas (who on left is saying: "I can't buy a putt!") and with a 67 were Kenny Bean & Ray Moore. The mostly partly sunny/partly overcast day with mildly warm temperatures, was a very good day for golf. Congratulations to all!!
