WITH ALMOST 10% INCREASE, RMCH A SUCCESS

Chuck Wright, RMCH's CEO and his main "golf tournament staff" of Elaine Bobo, Ina Burmeister, Rochelle Evans and Marilou Donkersloot, made the 13th annual RMCH Charity Invitational a success. The tournament of course, had more than just five people behind it, beginning with Charity Invitational chairman, Brett Newberry, who masterfully organized all elements of a large committee. But, suffice it to say, that without the enthusiastic drive and work of these four ladies and all of the volunteers they managed to organize for each activity, I would find it hard to come up with the same results, both, in participation and organization.
As you all well know, golf is only part of Charity Invitational, there is a "Run-Walk", and of course, all events culminate with a dance and a formal dinner, which this year was hosted on Saturday the 4th at the Best Western The Inn. With about a 10% increase form last year, it's hard to argue the success in the golf tournament. In addition, all players should have noticed the great efforts and hard work of our golf course maintenance crew to prepare the course for a fun and demanding day that catered to golfers of all levels. In short, thank you to all!
Young and old, skillful and not, family (left brothers Barry & Lee Usrey and above right, the Menapce Family (this family has never missed a Charity Invitational): Johnny Thomas, Debbie Thomas, Howard Menapace & Marty Menapace), friends (below right, among others: Marilou Condrey, Pastor Jay McCollum, Mark Gartner & Buddy Knight) and/or new acquaintances, made it for one of the most competitive events in its history.
In the gross category, two teams tied for first with a 58, and, with a 54.5, seven teams tied for first in the net category! Since the participants get trophies, there must be a tie-breaker, so, after the tie breaker, here are the final results:
GROSS: 1st - "Jerry's Cafe": Archie Baca Jr., Bobby Frazier, Dave Hill & Jonathan Avery (won the tie breaker on #3 with an eagle); 2nd "Wells Fargo Farmington": Chad Cardiff, David Cardiff, Dwayne Cardiff and Richard Cardiff; 3rd "Don Diegos": Alex Baca, Dennis Peterson, Anthony Sanchez & Anthony Trujillo.
NET: 1st - "Gallup Lumber": Orville Arviso, Clarence Peterson, David Haynes & Danny Radcliff; 2nd "Coca Cola": Steven Josselyn, Richard Madrid, Thomas Martinez & Ruben Sanchez; 3rd "Gurleys": Steve Gurley, Mitch Murphy, Roy Nichols & Todd Argo (who, is worth mentioning, on #16 learned how to rid of his slice!).
Just behind in the tie breaker, golfing family of "Rico's": Howard Menapace, Marty Menapace, Johnny Thomas & Debbie Thomas; "Elite Laundry": Jason Gonzalez, Ricky Luna, Carlos Torres & Eric Sanchez; "Corely": Richard Leza, Robert Rosales, Ray Ramirez & Louie Cordova; "Gallup Off. Supplies & 1st Financial": John Matajcich, Dale Dedrick, Dan Cortez & Ed Placencio; "PHI": Marcus Tulley, Jon Fouser, Tony Cristanelli & Chuck Spencer.
