LOST IN THE SHUFFLE...

Everyone has been talking about the recent events which will culminate on June 30th with my departure from my pro-shop duties as golf professional. But no one has thought about the other people who work with me, especially "Mona" (pictured on a windy day after helping set up a tournament), the person who kept me from "losing my marbles" at times and, without whom I would have not been able to do many of the things that are usually taken for granted.
Mona , who worked part time for us and full time for the school system, retired from the the Gallup McKinley County Schools system on June 16th and was planning on taking it a "little easy" in the pro-shop by helping only a few hours a week, but, decided to remove herself from her pro-shop duties as of June 19th. I wish it didn't have to happen, as I know that she enjoyed talking to you and serving you, but I understand because we were truly a good team who understood each other's assignments and roles, nothing of which grows overnight.
She enjoyed serving you as much as I did, and there is no one who appreciates the unheralded free time that she gave to the cause more than me, as she always made things look much easier than they look. Her attitude and service went beyond written duties and helped get things going well and on time. Thinking of all of you, she wishes the best to the new Fox Run team.
Mona, thank you a lot for all the hard and loyal work and for the good times. You are great and will always be my partner!
