Mike Thompson, has won two in a row. Though this time, he had to rely on two strong teammates Andrew Dominguez and Calvin Begay. They won the inaugural Catholic Panthers Scarmble. Thompson won the first tournament of the year as well ("Masters of Gallup & Augusta"). Their score of 64 tied Tom Chee, Garrett Chee and Travis Chee, however, they won the tie breaker. In the net category, these are the winners: 1st (58.0) Ernie Abeita, Dilland Martinez & Kenny Abeita Jr.; 2nd (61.5) David Haynes, Roger Ricks & Scott Armstrong; 3rd (62.0) Al Martinez, Anthony Trujillo & Ralph Rodriguez; and tied for 4th (62.5) Andrew Blanco, Anthony Silva & Mike Silva with David Bischoff, Gigi Bischoff & Scoty Armstrong (no mistake here, Scoty is the son of Scott). Maqrui Armstrong (Scoty's sister), led her all female team (Lisa Gorman & Laura Pittman) to a very respectable 63.5 The tournament was a success thanks to the hard work of three "professional volunteers", in alphabetical order: Paula Annala, Marci Bischoff and Marie Chioda (doesn't it always happen like that? Three moms -or dads- ends up doing most of the work that benefits a very large group of people). Above left, Francesca Chioda, waiting for mom to finish her golf tournament meeting.
