SPECIAL OLYMPICS DAY

Special Olympics Golf began last Tuesday when Brad Vergien and wife Sabrina (pictured here with Mike) brought their golf students to the golf course. Volunteers and Special Olympians will meet every Tuesday until the end of the summer when area representatives will go to the State Summer Games. On the first day, only four golfers showed up -we missed Leonard Garcia who is always around-, but their time was well worth it... concentration pays off: just look at Mike's results (yellow balls in the dotted circle) after a little advice from Sabrina! So many organizations would no be around without dedicated volunteers!
